- Use rotary action only. Turn off Hammer function to prevent damage to bit
- Application: (1) Drill first with a hammer drill bit until reaching rebar. (2) Replace bit with SDS Rebar Cutter then penetrate rebar using rotary only. (3) After completion of rebar drilling, complete drilling with hammer bit.
- Rebar Cutters are problem solvers only. A 1/2” Rebar Cutter drilling through #6 (3/4”) rebar dead center may result in 5 to 10 holes being drilled provided correct speed and pressure are utilized. It is not uncommon for only one piece of rebar to be cut per Rebar Cutter. Rebar Cutters should not be used for drilling concrete. Rebar Cutters are not warrantied for replacement or repair.
